Event Stewards & Venue Staff

Role Overview & Responsibilities

Venues and large events require vigilant, friendly, and well-trained stewards to guide visitors, manage entry gates, ensure patron safety, and deliver excellent customer care throughout busy events.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

• Welcome visitors and provide clear directions to seating, VIP zones, and facilities
• Manage turnstiles, ticket scanning, wristbanding, and entry-gate crowd flow
• Monitor egress routes, exits, stairways, and disabled access pathways
• Support venue management during emergency evacuation procedures
• Liaise with event coordinators, security teams, and medical personnel

Pay & Rate Guidelines

Competitive hourly rates from £11.80 to £16.50 per hour (PAYE).
